CrossFit Cumbrians come from all walks of life, we’re different shapes and sizes and have a wide range of abilities. There’s no one-size-fits-all here, and there’s nothing you can’t do. What we love about CrossFit is that every movement can be adapted and scaled to help each individual get an effective workout every time they come to the gym. We mean it when we say CrossFit is for everybody.

This gym was created so a group of friends could have a place to train together and that's the way it's stayed since it was established way back in 2012.
We all love to work hard, but our members happiness, health and safety is our highest priority.
CrossFit Cumbria is a supportive space for you to work towards your goals with expert guidance from experienced coaches who know how to get you there in one piece.
We could list it all, but we're sure you'll find all the equipment and space you need for an effective workout at CrossFit Cumbria.
Toilet and shower facilities, mirrors with accessible plugs, free tap water and tea and coffee making facilities are on offer in our newly renovated social area.
Alongside regular classes and open gym access, you'll be extended an invitation to social events, charity fundraisers, specialist workshops and the occasional friendly competition.
We have an active social media presence where you can keep up to date with all the latest announcements and interact with the community.

We are changing the way we run our Intake courses.
In September 2023 we will move to ‘Fundamental’ classes, a rolling programme of 12 sessions covering everything you need to know to start CrossFit and a little more. These sessions will be open to those brand new to CrossFit and our existing members too, so we can all brush up on our basics.
These sessions are designed to coach you step by step through the fundamental movements and training methods of CrossFit in a fun a supportive small-group environment.
These sessions will run on Tuesday nights at 7.30pm and Saturday mornings at 10:30am.
If you are brand new to CrossFit, please get in touch and we can advise you when the fundamentals starts from session 1. This will give you the best learning experience, with each session building on the previous.
You are free to start with any membership option you’d like, but we’d highly recommended prioritising attending the fundamentals sessions first and foremost, then using any additional sessions against our regular timetable, or strength room when you feel ready.
All of our membership options carry absolutely no minimum terms or tie ins, so there’s nothing to lose by giving it a go. By the end of the course, you’ll have gained the skills and knowledge to train safely in any CrossFit gym – especially ours.
Our very first Fundamentals session will begin on Saturday 2nd September at 10:30am, then continue the following Tuesday at 7.30pm and so on…

Step 2: Enroll
Follow the link below to WodBoard and choose a membership option, fill in your details, add your payment details and you're away.
Step 3: Book your sessions
Once you've created a WodBoard account, you'll be able to book onto the Fundamental sessions (in purple on our timetable). We'll also talk you through how to do this on the first session.
Step 4: Turn up!
Bring yourself, a drink and wear some comfortable sports gear and we'll take care of the rest.
There are lots of ways to become a CrossFit Cumbrian, flexible enough to fit any lifestyle.
All our plans, passes and drop in options are available to those who have completed one of our intake courses, completed a similar course elsewhere and/or currently train at another CrossFit box to ensure the ability to train safely in our box.
Unlimited - £60 per month.
Unlimited access to everything CrossFit Cumbria has to offer - classes, The Other Room, workshops etc. Absolutely no limits or restrictions, book in as often as you like.
3 sessions per week - £45 per month.
Your choice of attending 3 classes or 3 Other Room sessions or a mix of both every week. Any unused classes may not roll-over to the next week, we find this helps to encourage regular and consistent training.
1 week pass - £25
Unlimited access to classes and The Other Room for 1 calendar week. Without limits or restrictions, you can book in as often as you like. Perfect for those visiting the area for a holiday or work and want to keep training. Be aware the 1 week pass will begin from the point of purchase, so don't buy this one too far in advance!
10 Class pass - £75
Access to 10 classes or The Other Room sessions or a mix of both, buying in bulk to save 25% on our drop in rate. Perfect for those in the area occasionally and want to have a base to train. This pass is valid for 12 months from the point of purchase.
Single session - £10
Drop ins are very welcome here! Perfect for those just passing through. Reserve your place in class by booking directly through our timetable. Unfortunately we no longer offer timeslots in The Other Room to drop ins due to security issues. If you'd like to drop in, but not attend a class please get in contact and let's see what we can do.

We’re based in the North Lakes just outside of Penrith, Cumbria.
Easily found on Google and Apple maps, just search “CrossFit Cumbria”.
By Car: you’ll find us just off Junction 40 of the M6 Motorway, follow the A66 West and take the very first left to enter the business park. You’ll see our unit clearly signposted ahead and ample free parking on your left as the road forks.
Also easily accessed on foot or by bike there are good pavements and clearly marked cycle paths from Penrith. We’re just over 1 mile from the town centre.
